More Information

The MSGA Air Atomising Spray Nozzle Body has been developed to provide exceptional operational reliability while maintaining extremely compact dimensions. Designed for demanding industrial environments, it combines precision engineering, durable materials and advanced atomisation technology to ensure consistent spray performance in a variety of applications. Constructed entirely from AISI 316L stainless steel, the MSGA delivers excellent resistance to corrosion and wear, making it suitable for use with a broad range of process fluids and operating conditions. The liquid-contact seals are available in FKM or Kalrez®, materials recognised for their excellent chemical resistance and long service life.

A defining feature of the MSGA range is its external mixing configuration. By mixing liquid and compressed air outside the nozzle body, the design enables highly accurate spray regulation while maintaining stable flow rates across varying mixing pressures. This arrangement also promotes effective cleaning of the atomisation components, helping to maintain consistent spray quality and reliable operation over extended production periods.

To further enhance performance and reliability, the nozzle body incorporates a self-cleaning interception needle. This feature helps minimise the risk of contamination build-up and blockage, reducing downtime and maintenance requirements. The needle tip is also fitted with a sealing O-ring that helps prevent even minor liquid leakage during closure, supporting accurate process control and reducing product waste.

For automated systems and process monitoring, the MSGA includes a rear-mounted needle position indicator. The protruding indicator provides a visual and mechanical reference point that can be integrated into machine control systems to verify needle movement and operational status. Combined with low operating pressure requirements for both liquid and atomising air, the MSGA nozzle body offers a versatile solution for manufacturers seeking repeatable atomisation performance and dependable process control.
